WHO ARE WE
Introducing Chris (BROOKY) Brook partner and operator of Central Yorke Engineering. Born in Ardrossan, he grew up near Pine Point and now lives in Maitland. Brooky married Julie in Oct. 1995 and they have three children; Mackenzie, Stephanie and Mitchell. Brooky and Julie have spent the last 15 years serving the Community as volunteers in the State Emergency Service and SA Ambulance Service. Chris enjoys sailing and caravanning but is a self-confessed workaholic and leisure days are rare.
After growing up on the family farm, Brooky started his Boilermaker apprenticeship with ETSA in Adelaide; he transferred to Armac Welding in 1991 where he gained a wealth of knowledge from Randy Dutschke. Still wanting to learn more, Brooky then left in 2000 to further his knowledge and experience and worked for an earthmoving and transport company as well as a farmer, both in the Central Yorke District, where he gained invaluable knowledge of farm and transport equipment. He then returned to work at Armac Welding in 2007 until leaving in 2012 to start Central Yorke Engineering
We aim to give a reliable and timely service to the Central Yorke Peninsula and surrounding areas. We shall do our best to give preference to seasonal breakdowns. Our main focus is on customer satisfaction and it is our pleasure to work with you to obtain suitable solutions to your problems.
